M&T Bank will serve as Presenting Sponsor of the 39th Anniversary Season. The Market takes place on Thursdays on Main Street between Court and Church Streets through October 21, 2021 from 10:00 am through 2:30 pm each day. The Market provides residents and visitors of Buffalo alike with a delightful shopping experience, featuring an eclectic mix of fresh goods and fine wares. The Downtown Country Market is a proud participant in the Pride of New York Program, Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, Field & Fork Network Double Up Food Bucks Program, and the Farmers’ Market Federation of New York.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Buffalo Place Inc. will continue with weekly execution of our Health Safety Plan for the 2021 Downtown Country Market season. Adjustments for vendors and guests include: requiring customers and vendors to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth; vendors properly spaced to maintain social distancing; and handwashing stations/hand sanitizer made available to vendors and customers.

Buffalo Place Inc. is the not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the economic health and quality of life in Downtown Buffalo. Buffalo Place manages the Downtown core surrounding the pedestrian mall, which was developed as part of the Light Rail Rapid Transit Project. Buffalo Place activities are partially funded by special charges paid over and above property taxes within Downtown’s Special Charge District. We strive to make Downtown Buffalo clean, safe, and fun.
