Formerly known as the Parent Leadership Program, Parent Network’s Family Empowerment Series provides information on Special Education, IEP Development and Effective Advocacy. Through this series, parents and caregivers of children with special needs will come together and build supportive relationships. The Family Empowerment Series entails a series of four virtual sessions, an additional two hour virtual event of choice and the completion of a personalized advocacy tool.

Virtual Sessions:

  • April 17- 9am-1pm
  • May 1- 9am-1pm
  • May 15- 9am-1pm
  • June 5- 9am-1pm

Following the program, parents and caregivers will receive a certificate of completion and be invited to join past graduates in our WNY Parent Leader Network where they will have access to additional information and resources.
