Under the heading – Why Didn’t I think of That – here is an idea (and newly launched Kickstarter Campaign) from Peter Hanley called Mad Hops flavored Brew Drops. Yes, just like it sounds, you add Mad Hops drops to your non-fancy beer to make it taste better.

Focused on the budget conscious consumer (we all know there are plenty of those around here) this product will turn your $2 light beer into something drinkable. We haven’t tested it yet but as big IPA drinkers we are looking forward to it. We’re not exactly convinced it will replace the craft beers we know and love, but you’d be crazy not to carry the small bottle of drops around for emergencies at family parties (you know what I’m talking about), events hosted by college kids, and Anything Can Happen Thursdays.
Mad Hops
Available in six flavors—Cherry Wheat, Pale Ale, Irish Porter, Mexican Lime, Wild Blueberry, and Apple Amber— according to Mad Hops this contains the same hops, bittering, malts and flavorings of the most popular craft brews.
We haven’t tested it yet but as big IPA drinkers we are looking forward to it.  To become a backer of the Mad Hops head to their Kickstarter campaign here and for more info check out their facebook page and website.
