It’s official. People absolutely die for Bozanna’s Pizza.

If you don’t know, let us explain. Bozanna’s was a pizza joint on Camp Road in Hamburg that apparently drew fans from across Western New York in their heyday.
They were known for their thick, heavy style and generous toppings.
Here’s how Buffalo Eats’ Chris Williams described the legend of Bozanna’s in 2009:
“Rumors of a pizza with so many toppings that it is a challenge just to finish one slice, of chicken finger subs that come with six, yes SIX chicken fingers on them, and calzones that are stuffed so big they are about to explode. Unfortunately on this trip to Bozanna’s I was not able to try it all. It isn’t the type of place you could do that. As a matter of fact, I had two pieces of pizza and I pretty much couldn’t move for the next two hours.”
Needless to say, this pizza has been missed since Bozanna’s closed.
Which is why we were excited to learn and share with you that Armor Inn Tap Room in Hamburg has the recipe for Bozanna’s famous pizza and you can order it off the menu (or take out during these corona times) any time you like. Options include cheese and pepperoni, white pizza, and a caprese version with soft mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil, and a balsamic drizzle.
