The dog days of summer (or anytime the weather is above 50 degrees amirite) are always better when they’re spent together…with our best four-legged friends. Luckily for us Western New Yorkers there’s a bunch of dog-friendly patios to choose from (although there could be more cough Elmwood Village cough) on those warm days that make you excited to hang out with your canine companion and maybe even your friends and family too.

As one should always do when bringing their pooch out in public, please use common sense and be respectful of the place you’re in and the people around you. Keep in mind your dog’s personality and how much of the etiquette lesson from Princess Diaries your dog has retained as well as the fact that there are some weirdos in this world/possibly at the restaurant who don’t like dogs.
With that in mind and without further ado, here are a bunch of the dog-friendly patios to enjoy with your fur child.
