Have you heard? Due to Covid-19, we’ve temporarily changed our motto to “Stay In, Buffalo”.  And for the foreseeable future we will be posting content that shares how our community can continue to support local businesses while adhering to guidelines set by the CDC.

UPDATE: According to a Facebook post on April 2nd, Lloyd was able to donate dozens of masks thanks to this effort. Looking for more ways to help now that this mask drive is over? Donate to WNY Feeds the Frontlines to donate a meal to a health care working on the front lines made by a local restaurant!

We all know that healthcare workers are struggling to get the proper protective gear. And while many local restaurants are figuring out their new take out model and keeping us fed, one WNY restaurant is taking their role a step further, working to help WNY healthcare workers get the PPE they need – Lloyd.

If you’re one of the many people in our community looking for ways you can help to help solve this PPE shortage problem, keep reading.

In order to show support for front line healthcare workers in the WNY area, this Wednesday (4/1/20) and Thursday (4/2/20) all Lloyd food truck stops will be giving away free tacos, a burrito, or an el camino to anyone who donates a new N95 mask. Make sure the mask is in the package or unused (place in a ziploc bag).

Every mask donated will be sent directly to a frontline healthcare work at a local hospital in need of one.
