Pizza Journal:

Elm Street has quite a few appetizing pies from which to choose. Starting to regret my limitations on toppings, I made a mental note to come back and try the Steak & Bleu pizza. Damn, that sounds good. When I ordered this pizza ahead of time, they asked me if I could cut it at home – their pizza travels best unsliced. I was impressed. I’m willing to go to great lengths to protect the integrity of food. So there it is, uncut. Elm Street has a unique following – called East Aurorians (possibly a made up word). They love it. Not only do they love the pizza, they love the bread, sandwiches, baked goods and atmosphere that gives you that warm fuzzy feeling. Rumor has it they are hoping to expand their menu soon. Oh the possibilities…

Back to the pizza – it was pretty good, different, smokey, right out of Elm Street’s wood burning brick oven.

 

Tester Observations:

CRUST: good crust, something different about the base, smokey taste from oven, flavor comes from the crust/dough

SAUCE: not much sauce

CHEESE: pretty basic/normal

PEPPERONI: crunchy, not spicy but good taste
