Eckl’s is merging beef on weck and other Western New York staples with an upscale steak, chops, and seafood house. Plus there’s a beef carving station and don’t forget that raw bar for pre-dinner appetizers/entertainment.

A cute new fast-casual spot for the taco lover in all of us. Craft beer, fresh tacos with all of the yummy toppings you can think of, plus a sidewalk patio. Can you say yum?

A little taste of Hawaii in Buffalo. This place specializes in poké bowls using fresh seafood and local produce, and there’s something on the menu for everyone, including Hawaiian beer and cans of rosé.

Buffalo’s nacho & marg hot spot has finally made its way to the Northtowns…and they’ve got brunch. The Transit location is also the only one of the 3 DST’s that has crazy shakes, which is reason alone to make the trip.

Rowhouse Bakery & Restaurant, located in a legit Rowhouse (obv) features so much deliciousness it’s insane. They’ve got: a café, artisanal bakery, a full-service restaurant, a specialty store, and a craft cocktail lounge. Plus Rowhouse pride’s themselves on using the finest organic, seasonal ingredients, sourced from Western New York’s local farms…and oh BTW have you SEEN this place?!

Steelbound sources its menu from WNY and therefore its menu is all about what’s fresh and in season around town. And don’t forget they specialize in beer and spirits. Win-Win situation.

Located in the perfect nook of downtown, the focus here is on coffee. 😉 And just FYI, all of their delicious desserts are free of gluten and dairy.

Franks puts the full focus on – you guessed it – hot dogs. This place is fully dedicated to gourmet hot dogs and french fries, forever changing the already amazing hot dog game in WNY for the better.

Buffalo plans to open up its first ever cat cafe this summer called Purrfect Cafe, located on Hertel Ave. Purrfect is Buffalo’s first ever cat cafe and it has all the cute cuddly kitties to pet and hold plus a tasty af menu. Stay tuned! Expected open date: July 2018

2. Alchemy Wine & Beer

Hamburg is getting a wine bar!(!!!) Alchemy Wine & Beer and focuses solely on good drinks and good times, and Chef Ru from Ru’s Pierogi will be creating a tapas menu exclusively for the place. You do not wanna miss this. Expected open date: July 2018
