Founded in 1998, the Allen West Festival is held on the second weekend in June each year. The 2023 Festival will be June 10 and 11 from 10:00AM to 6:00PM each day. About the Allen West Festival:
The Festival this year will be moved about one block east to accommodate street construction and will be held on Allen Street from Mariner Street to Irving Place. The Festival is produced by The Allentown Association, Inc. and promotes local artists and craftspeople from throughout Western New York as well as Allentown Businesses. In recent years there have been over 150 participating artists, vendors, restaurants, and local businesses! This event is the largest fundraiser for the Allentown Association. Proceeds help with the Association’s mission to promote historic preservation in the Allentown National Historic District as well as regionally and to benefit the Allentown neighborhood through community gardens/beautification, crime and safety awareness, and to promote the year-round cultural attractions of the Historic District.
