On Saturday February 4th from 5-8pm Whole Stories Therapy & Queer City Therapy will be hosting their first art opening at their new office space located at 257 Lafayette Ave in Buffalo.
Both practices opened at this new location in July 2022. Ashera DeRosa, LMFT and Cassandra Lange, LCSW are excited to share what they have been creating in their new space over the past few months with the community along with showcasing the work of local artists.
After the first opening the hope is to have these events quarterly. Each show will give a different WNY artist the chance to share their work with our community. Each art opening event is free and open to the public, and light fare will be provided.
The first artist to be featured will be Molly Strong from Jamestown NY. Molly Strong is an artist, writer and musician. Her art explores the relationships between line and form while incorporating a layered palette. She is inspired by nature and is an advocate for animals. Molly is currently writing and illustrating a graphic novel. In the spring of 2023, she will be painting three outdoor murals in downtown Jamestown, NY.
During the event we will be collecting non-perishable food and personal care items for our community partner Rooted In Love.
The gallery space is located on the first floor of the Fritzlen building in the ramp off of the parking lot.
