Hands-on classes in the Book Arts studio!
Led by teaching artist Talia Ryan, learn to block print fabric by designing and carving your own linoleum stamp. Workshoppers will have assistance with brainstorming ideas, and get hands on demonstrations and assistance with the carving process. Attendees will be provided one cotton tea towel to test out their stamp, but may also bring their own fabric items (up to 3 per person) to print if desired. All ages and experience levels are welcome, though we will work with a sharp tool, so adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12.
Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages 12+.
• All necessary tools to participate are provided.
