Books come in a variety of forms—chapbooks, picture books, novels, graphic novels. How do you discover the best medium to tell the story you want to tell, and what does the journey look like from concept to published book? Join Ariel Aberg-Riger, author/illustrator of the upcoming book America Redux (HarperCollins, May 2023) as she discusses the process behind getting her book made. We’ll read a chapter from the ARE (“advanced reader’s edition”) of the book, and then play around with responsive visual storytelling using poetry and collage.
