42 North Brewing Company will host its ever-popular “Brewski” event on Saturday, February 18th at Knox Farm State Park. The Brewski event allows participants to traverse a scenic wo-mile course while sampling some of 42 North’s latest creations along the way.
Brewski was first launched in 2017 as a fun way for adventurers and beer lovers to get outdoors in the winter. Brewski has now grown to over 600 participants who experience the natural wonders of Knox Farm at a one-of-a-kind event.
Participants 21 and over will receive five beer samples, a complimentary beer back at the brewery, and a commemorative tasting mug. Additionally, Brewski will feature a number of regional vendors offering demo equipment including Campus Wheelworks and Western New York Mountain Biking Association.
“We are passionate about the outdoors and the winters in Western New York. And, no surprise, we also love beer. So, the Brewski event is the best way for us to combine our passions,” stated Matt Lickfeld, 42 North’s Manager of Adventure.
The Brewski event will be held at the Historic Stables off Knox Road. From the Stables, participants can hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, or fat tire bike the course. Parking will be available at the Knox Park soccer fields on Knox Road.
Brewski is a rain, snow, or shine event. As 42 North Founder, John Cimperman, states, “It’s February, it’s Buffalo, so the weather can be a bit unpredictable. But that’s the fun of it. No two Brewski’s are ever quite the same. Just gear up and get out.”
Following the Brewski event, 42 North will host a post-party at the brewery. The party will include live music and the tapping of special Hot Cocoa Stout.
