The evening’s celebration will open with a short presentation on these 5 amazing women: Ann Montgomery (owner of the Little Harlem Hotel), Marian DeForest (queer playwright & journalist), Anna Katherine Green (“The Mother of the Detective Novel”), Mary Burnett Talbert (civil rights activist) and Katherine Cornell (“First Lady of American Theatre” who had a lavender marriage).

We look forward to a fun, intriguing and delicious night full of dainty tea sandwiches, delicate pastries, @confections_by_J French macarons, berries, chocolate and more popular during the Roaring 20s! (All-vegetarian or all-pescatarian menu is available if you request it in advance. Vegan is not available for this event.)
These treats will be served with the traditional hot black and oolong teas. The Harmony House bar will also be open with a variety of alcohol avaiable for purchase. Plus, each guest will be greeted with a glass of free champagne!
