The Buffalo Museum of Science’s newest and perhaps most anticipated science studio will be unveiled this August! Buffalo In Space is the eighth and final exhibit that completes the five-year transformation of all of the Museum’s permanent galleries.
Physically immense and distant, space may feel like an abstract concept from which we are disconnected – when in fact, we are part of it. We have a unique perspective. Buffalo In Space will focus on regional stories that connect us to the space and aerospace industries and illustrate current research. The exhibit will highlight achievements in aerospace by local companies, while also recognizing that space represents the greatest – and wildest – of all possible frontiers.
How do we, here in Buffalo, connect to the bigger picture – from the perspective of this city, or this planet, or this galaxy? Offering something for everyone, Buffalo In Space will showcase the exciting story of space, framing the science in a way that inspires curiosity and enjoyment for visitors of all ages.
Space isn’t ‘out there’, it’s right here. It’s happening right now, and you’re a part of it.
