The artwork in this exhibition considers collective action; action taken together by a group of people whose goal is to enhance their condition and achieve a common objective. Concurrently, this exhibition is illuminated by its turn away from the impulse toward compartmentalizing visual art, and instead considers current cultural divestment fed by permacrisis, performative nihilism, bodily relations, manufactured relatability, and the aspiration for controlled narratives.
