Performance dates and casting are finalized, and tickets are now on sale for Drunk Theatre Buffalo’s Drunk Peter Pan! The show will run Tuesdays through March and April, 2023 on the mainstage of Buffalo RiverWorks. Excluding April 18th. Featuring an ensemble cast of 14 of Buffalo’s funniest performers the audience is invited to join in on the shenanigans with an occasional “3…2…1…Cheers” lead by the actors on stage.
Drunk Theatre Buffalo aims to bring the professional actors and comedians of Buffalo, NY out of the theatres and into the city’s favorite bars and venues. Guests at the show are encouraged to sit back with a drink, or maybe some snacks, and leave the old notions and rules of more traditional theatre behind!
Drunk Peter Pan, directed by Emma English, written by Matthew Rittler, and produced by Emily Glick follows the original 1911 story Peter and Wendy by J.M. Barrie…almost. Audiences can expect to see their favorite characters Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell (among others) with some new additions to usher the story into 2023. This show is for an audience that had no choice but to grow up, but still feels young at heart. The hilarious ensemble cast features Lizzie Arnold, Mike Benoit, Lucas Colon, Sam Crystal, Ashton DeCaro, Amy Feder, Marty Gartz, Karen Harty, Kaeli McGinnis, Shelby McNulty, Morgan Mincer, Emilia Navarrete, Phoebe Wright, and David Wysocki where many actors take on more than one role within the story.
