EMPIRE musical improv comedy returns to Buffalo for a one-night only performance at the 716 Selfie Museum!
EMPIRE is an improv comedy supergroup that performs a completely improvised narrative musical with a little help from… YOU?! Yup, that’s right! They ask the audience to shout out their original ideas for the title of a brand-new musical, and the audience then votes on their favorite. Once they have their title, the all-star cast creates an unforgettable night of musical theater on-the-fly. They’ll belt their faces off, freestyle with magical ease, and effortlessly harmonize songs that you’ve never heard before (but might end up stuck in your head!)
The opening act for this performance will be a student showcase featuring the ridiculously talented stars of Buffalo Improv House’s Level One Musical Improv Comedy class.
