The Funk Knights are a supergroup of some of Buffalo’s best musicians from Intrepid Travelers, Space Junk, Functional Flow, C.O. Jones, and Donny Frauenhofer Trio that get together once a month and give their take on classic funk tunes. Anything is fair game, from Prince to Rick James, Brecker Brothers to the Meters, pop funk to deep fusion – and everything in between! And as always, there’s heavy improvisation laced between these classic funk tunes
