Graycliff is opening up their restored historic grounds for the first time to celebrate a very special time of year when Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture perfectly frames the setting sun! This will be a memorable event that you’ll want to get your tickets for now, as they do expect this to sell out.
Included with each ticket is admission to the party timed with the setting solstice sun, food by Daily’s and Coyote Cafe, entertainment including music by Saranaide and performances by Buffalo Aerial Dance, as well as access to the interior of Graycliff’s main house where a fine art silent auction will be on display. A cash bar by the Traveling Tipsy Trailer will be on site all evening.
Don’t want to drive out to Graycliff? There are tickets available that include a shuttle ride from D’Youville University. Park in Lot A (off the roundabout on the central part of campus) and get on a shuttle that leaves at 6:30pm, 6:45pm, or 7:45pm). These tickets are $115/each and include a complimentary adult beverage. Shuttles will be going back and forth all evening, with the last shuttles leaving Graycliff at 9 and 9:30pm. Please note these special shuttle tickets are limited.
This event is rain or shine. In the event of rain, a tent and umbrellas will be made available to guests.
All proceeds from the Summer Solstice Garden Party provide important operational funds to support Graycliff Conservancy’s mission, which is centered around the preservation of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed structures and grounds, along with the Ellen Biddle Shipman-designed gardens and landscape, that comprise Graycliff, the summer retreat of Isabelle & Darwin Martin. Funds will be put to immediate use to properly care for this remarkable historic site.
