Try your hand at jewelry making as we create a layered stamped necklace! Choose a meaningful word, name, or date to stamp on a disc in silver and/or brass. There are endless options for making a one-of-a-kind piece! Create a dynamic design with the use of layers, surface texture, and mixing metals. We will be practicing stamping before starting on a final design to build confidence in hammering. You will get familiar with other hand tools by finishing your necklace with a chain and attaching rings and a clasp. We will also cover how to care for your silver and brass jewelry.
