Higher Education crafts a unique blend of psychedelic soaked roots with raw riotous rock n roll. Higher Ed is a three piece power trio from the state of Maryland, consisting of brothers Petey and Danny Devaney on Guitar, Bass, and Vocals, and Bradley Wilson on Drums. Together they have toured the country sharing their extensive original catalog of music and high energy performances. Higher Ed’s music certainly bends genres, but their foundation is rooted in Rockin guitar riffs, groovin’ bass lines, powerful drums, and strong melodies. They are creators of their own unique style of music, ever evolving, while steadily sharpening their sound. If you are a music lover it’s time for you to get educated, you’re about to discover something special.
Daze Ago

Despite early personal conflict within the band, they have spent the last year reevaluating and reinventing themselves personally and musically. The stage and studio are where these guys always seem to show up most often these days. Throughout all of this and onward, they have played all over Buffalo and neighboring towns, and the band has busted out and played out in other notable venues in Akron, OH, Baltimore, MD, and more. To top it off, they managed to play a sold out show to hundreds of people at the height of the pandemic. It’s not just about us, but the other music too. Notable acts we have performed with include Tropidelic, Joint Operation, Crazy Town, and Rehab. Inspired by wildly different genres, the new songs flawlessly demonstrate the variety and fun that they bring to the table. Flexing their rocking punk muscles with Let Down they bring it down and groove on the hip-hop inspired Demonize the Smoke. The passion doesn’t stop there; as their pool of ideas continues to stew, music continues to boil over.
