The Hospice Gran Fondo is a fun bicycle ride in Western New York featuring three routes along the scenic Niagara Wine Trail, food, music and more!
What is a Gran Fondo? A Gran Fondo is a type of bicycle ride that originated in Italy and translates to “Big Ride.” Known as a party on wheels, Gran Fondos offer food & refreshments along the route and are followed by fun post-ride parties.
The Hospice Gran Fondo offers all that and more! Food and refreshments are available along the three routes with several of the refreshment stops at various Niagara Wine Trail wineries & breweries.
The Hospice Gran Fondo is a family friendly event offering riders of all abilities the opportunity to ride along some of the most beautiful bike routes WNY has to offer.
Riders can ride 62 miles (100 km), 33 miles, or 15 miles. Even if you’re not a cyclist you can come out and enjoy the amazing after party by purchasing a $25 wristband for food & drink! The start/finish and after party are all located at Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
In addition to enjoying the great scenery and stops along the route, as well as fun pre- and post-race parties, all registrants will be given brand new Hospice Gran Fondo bike shirt.
All proceeds from the event benefit patients and families served by Niagara Hospice.
