Does your family need a fun way to make it through the winter gloom? This KIDDIE Cabbage Walk is an alcohol free version of a GCV&M favorite that is fun for the whole family. Based on a German tradition, a Kohlfahrt or Cabbage walk, is an opportunity to gather together with friends and family in the mid winter for a walk in the woods! Participants will compete against each other while playing games, hiking the trails, warming up by the campfire and more!
Check in at the Nature Center from 10:00 – 2:00 PM to start your adventure.
Once you arrive, this independent walk will cover approximately .5 – 1 mile and last 45 minutes or more. The length of the fun depends on how much your group decides to play.
Even groups of 2+ are recommended.
In the case of severe weather, an alternate date will be set for Saturday, February 27.
