Calling all homeschool families!
Join us at GCV&M on Thursday, March 23, for a sweet exploration into the history of maple sugaring in NY State! Homeschool family groups will have the opportunity to self-guide throughout the Nature Center Trails and the Historic Village, where they will interact with costumed historical interpreters demonstrating fascinating traditional tasks. See the modern-day sugar house, explore a 19th-century sugar camp, learn about historical uses of maple sugar in the Historic Village, and more! Plus, indulge in a pancake breakfast in the Meeting Center!

This program is supported by a grant awarded to Genesee Country Village & Museum by Empire State Development and I LOVE NY/New York State’s Division of Tourism through the Regional Economic Development Council initiative.
