Looking for an easy way to help the environment and our pollinator friends? Want to add some color to your backyard? Ever wondered why lawns have looked the same for the last 200 years? The Buffalo Botanical Gardens is here to help you reignite your lawn by creating a new space in your yard just for pollinators! We are here to talk all things native WNY plants and how the simple act of re-working your own lawn can help our environment. In this class, we will show you what seeds can be helpful to your backyard and pollinators, how to naturally eliminate some (or all!) of your grass and make room for a pollinator meadow, as well as the appropriate timing for creating this space. You will also create your very own pollinator seed mix to bring home.
