Description

Join us for Saturdays in the Village at BNHV and discover our region’s agricultural and rural heritage.

On Saturdays, May through October, visitors can:

• Enjoy a Guided Tour of the Historic Village. Guided Tours are included in admission, and start at 10:30 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, and 2:30 PM. Not interested in a guided tour? Take a virtual one! The BNHV App has self-guided virtual experiences – including a new trivia game!

• Engage with skilled artisans as they demonstrate blacksmithing, cooking, woodworking, and more.

• Be a farmer for a day along the brand new Farmstead Children’s Trail, sponsored by the Kelly for Kids Foundation.

• Explore the 10 historic structures and Heritage Farmstead, as well as local history in our Shaw Exhibit Building. Be sure to check out the Amherst Gallery, installed this year!

• Take your experience home with you with unique gifts in our Village and Museum Stores! Indulge in a sweet treat, browse locally made artisan goods, and more.

As part of BNHV’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible educational programming, children will receive free admission on Saturdays.
