Songs of The Guess Who is a musical tribute to one of Canada’s greatest and most popular bands, sung and played by former members who actually played under the Guess Who banner for years.
Lead vocalist/guitarist Carl Dixon is familiar to music fans for his decades of recording and performing with Coney Hatch, The Guess Who and April Wine. He was front man and singer for the Guess Who for about eight years, between 97 and 2008, with a hiatus during the GW reunion of 2000.
Bill Wallace is the bassist and vocalist for this show. He covered that same role during the Guess Who’s glory days of the 70’s and again in their 2000 reunion. Bill is also co-writer of Clap for the Wolfman and many other songs from the Guess Who catalogue.
Bill’s fellow Winnipegger Laurie Mackenzie, lead guitar/vocals was for ten years (2006-2015) lead guitarist for the Guess Who.
