This month, we’re delighted to welcome Connie Adams — a Wildlife Biologist with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation — to our 2022 Speaker Nite series.
Theodore Roosevelt was passionate about birds and, as President, he created more than 50 bird reservations to protect his vulnerable feathered friends. Connie Adams will talk about an exciting local success story in the area of bird conservation. “Terning the Tide: How Building an Island in the Niagara River Helped the Endangered Common Tern” will explore how this habitat restoration project contributes to region-wide conservation efforts.
