Starring Buffalo is proud to present HELLO, DOLLY! in Concert, Jerry Herman’s classic musical that explores the romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher-Levi, turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things”. Winner of an astonishing 10 Tony Awards, HELLO, DOLLY! bursts with humor, romance, energy and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history.
The cast will feature Broadway star and Buffalo native Michele Ragusa (Ragtime, Young Frankenstein) returning to Western New York in the title role, renowned soprano Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, The King and I), most recently seen as Christine in Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, as Irene Molloy, and actor and comedian Kevin Zak (Waitress, Silence! The Musical) as Cornelius. They’ll perform with Buffalo area stars Lizzie Arnold, Greg Gjurich, Jake Hayes, Melanie Klaja, Anthony Lazarro, Jetaun Louie, Marc Sacco and Kayla McSorley (Six The Musical), alongside the Starring Buffalo Community Chorus, dancers, and musicians.
