Take a rare peek inside Linwood Gardens and The Hillcrest Estate as they bring you their second annual Summer Solstice Soiree.
Our second annual Summer Solstice Soiree will have two ticket options this year!
Ticket Option 1: Tour of Linwood Gardens followed by Dinner, Drinks & Music at The Hillcrest Estate
Linwood Gardens is a private, historic estate with significant cultural, horticultural, and community history reaching back to 1901. Promptly at 5pm, visitors will be guided in groups from the Arts-and-Crafts-era summerhouse to the formal Italian Garden, tree peony nursery, serene Lily Pool Garden, and several other unique gardens areas, each which has many stories to tell. Experienced tour guides at each stop will reveal how every era of Linwood Gardens has built on the last to create a beautiful, layered landscape with enduring significance. The experience will last about 1 hour. After your tour, guests will travel “next door” to The Hillcrest Estate (1940 Craig Rd. Pavilion NY 14525) for live folk music, a cash bar, and plated 4-course meal by The Yard of Ale (see below).
Ticket Option 2: Dinner, Drinks & Music at The Hillcrest Estate
Arrive at The Hillcrest Estate at 6pm for live folk music, a cash bar, and plated 4-course meal by The Yard of Ale Restaurant. This option does not include a tour of Linwood Gardens.
Both ticket options include the following:
Arrive at The Hillcrest Estate at 6pm and enjoy a drink in the ballroom or on the terrace. A cash bar will be available throughout the night, featuring a specialty cocktail from Woodlawn Distilling! The Yard of Ale Restaurant will be serving a summer inspired four course meal at 6:30 p.m.
First Course: Shrimp slider with sweet corn tartar sauce (substitution for chicken can be made upon request)
Second Course: Prosciutto salad with burrata cheese, baby arugula, tomatoes & balsamic
Third Course: Beef Carbonnade. Linwood’s own Walton Farms short rib braised with Dublin Corners Farm Brewery beer, sweet onions, tomatoes & garlic, served over whipped potatoes
Fourth Course: The Yard of Ale’s homemade specialty strawberry’s shortcake ice cream
After dinner, guests will mingle as the sun sets, roast s’mores at the fire pit, play yard games, and enjoy the ballroom, veranda, sunroom and terrace at The Hillcrest Estate which once entertained prominent American figures in history, including Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain and Ethel Barrymore.
