This event will include Ranger-guided tours and demonstrations of the maple production process from Erie County’s very own Sugar Shack. Additionally, there will be maple-inspired food from Fat Bob’s BBQ, live music, and special tapping of 42 North’s limited-edition Maple Porter. The maple porter was produced with maple syrup from the Erie County forest.
“We are thrilled to partner with Erie County Parks on this unique event,” said 42 North Brewery Founder, John Cimperman. “New York State has a storied tradition in maple production and we felt this was a great way to highlight New York’s maple legacy and also provide attendees with an up-close look at the process and the beautiful grounds of the Erie County Forest,” he added.
This will be the first of Erie County’s “Pints in the Parks” event series. 42 North will be hosting additional events in partnership with Erie County at Sprague Brook Park and Emery Park in the summer of ‘23.
