In partnership with Rich Products, West Side Community Services is hosting a big bash to celebrate World Art Day on Friday, April 14 from 6-8 p.m.! We are inviting all our artsy friends to host stations where you can get creative with hands-on projects, music, and dance. This event is FREE, but registration is required.
We’ll have:
Paint-your-own terracotta pot and plant an herb seedling (thanks to Grassroots Gardens)
Drum circle (focusing on African and Middle Eastern rhythms) with Leanne Darling
Dance workshop with B.flo-Girls (thanks to Arts for Learning WNY)
Art glass window clings with Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House
Air dry clay project with City Year Buffalo
Upcycled journal making with Martha Schermerhorn (thanks to Arts for Learning WNY)
Pop-up string lessons with Buffalo String Works
