  • Discover and share the joys of working with wood. This class is structured to safely and systematically enable an adult/younger person pair to learn to use The Foundry’s Woodshop tools. This session is designed to enable two mixed-aged students to make a giant-sized version of the classic wooden stacking game together. Join us to build a great yard game with its own carrying case that will be enjoyed (and bragged about) with family and friends for years to come!. Mother-Son, Aunt-Nephew, Grandfather-Granddaughter participants (as well as many other possible pairings) are welcome when the younger student is between the ages of 12-15 and the elder is under 120. Act quickly, only four pairs can work in our shop during a session!

    What you’ll learn:

    ~Measuring for project success
~Determining the right tool for different processes
~Safe saw use for cutting wood
    ~Safe sanding
    ~Collaborative Making skills

Class Cost: $45 for each participant – $90 for each pair (all materials and lunch included)
