For nearly 50 years, America has been performing some of the best-loved hits of the ’70s. Original members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell (along with former bandmate Dan Peek) met in high school in London. Soon, they harmonized their way to the top of the charts with what would become their signature song, “A Horse with No Name.” Almost overnight they became a household name around the world. And over the next few years they created an incredible string of top-ten hits including “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Sister Golden Hair” and “Tin Man” that are still cornerstones on FM radio even today.
Today, the duo is still going strong playing hits from seven gold & platinum albums and thrilling the generations of fans that continue to pack their performances. Don’t miss a very special evening with America live at the Seneca Allegany Events Center Saturday, July 7th starting at 7 PM.
