Come join Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village’s Woodwrights Guild in learning how to timber frame. Participants will use traditional hand tools to construct posts, tie beams, sill plates, joists and braces. Then they will get the opportunity to put them all together and raise the 14×14 lambing barn. Class will meet Thursday evenings 6:00-9:00 and Saturdays 9:00-2:00 February 7th-March 23rd. Some knowledge of woodworking is helpful but not necessary. The minimum age for participation is 17. The cost is $150.00 for museum members and $175.00 for non-museum members.
