  • Ayurveda “the science of life” is a complementary practice to yoga that has been utilized for thousands of years to create greater balance and wellness. In Ayurveda health is defined as an ever changing state of balance between mind, body and environment. From an Ayurvedic perspective the five elements create life and the manifestation of those elements is through the three doshas; Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The Doshas expresses unique blends of physical, emotional and mental characteristics. Summer in our part of the world is Pitta Season, where fire and water are the predominant elementals. In this workshop you will take a dosha quiz to determine your predominant, secondary and tertiary dosha. In knowing this you will learn about strategies to create greater balance and harmony in the life you live.
