Beginner Glass Blowing – Jewelry

Make your own piece of glass jewelry as you explore the fundamentals of glass blowing! Students select from different color options and create either a pendant, earrings, or a graceful bangle bracelet with the help of Glass Shop instructor, Jason Dederich.

Glass blowing is an art and the craft takes time to master. This session enables participants to join with a small group to get a sense of the process. Learn more about blowing fine glass by working with Jason to form your own wearable art — make sure you come with a few different ideas about what you’d like to create!

What you’ll learn:
Heating glass
Pulling and shaping hot glass
Proper glass blowing stances.
Pipe/Body/Hand positioning
