42 North Brewing Company will host the third-annual “Brewski” at Knox Farm State Park on Saturday, February 16th. From noon until 3 pm, participants will traverse a scenic two-mile course and, along the way, sample some of 42 North’s latest creations.
For a $25 donation (pre-registration), participants 21 and over will receive four, five-ounce beer samples, a complimentary beer back at the brewery, and, for the first 200 registrations, a commemorative tasting mug. For those without cross-country skis, Campus Wheelworks and Mud Sweat & Gears will be on-site with some demo skis.
Participants can also snowshoe, bike, or hike the course, if they choose. Dogs are welcome, as long they are leashed. “We are passionate about the outdoors and the winters in Western New York. And, no surprise, we also love beer. So, the Brewski event is the best way for us to combine our passions,” stated Marshall Kaltenbach, 42 North’s Ambassador of Good Karma.
The Brewski event will be held at the Historic Stables off Knox Road. The Stables will be open to the public and host a number of regional vendors. Parking will
be available at the Knox Park soccer fields on Knox Road. Following the Brewski event, 42 North will host a post-party at the brewery. The party will include an outdoor barbeque and the tapping of special Hot Cocoa Stout.
To pre-register, log onto https://42nbrewski.eventbrite.com. Tickets will also be sold day of event for $30. Event proceeds benefit the not-for-profit Aurora Ice Association.
