  • On Wednesday, July 25th Buffalo River Fest Park will be host their “Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series” at the park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concert will run from 6:30pm to 10pm and will feature the local band Heard of Buffalo.

    Heard of Buffalo has been playing gigs around Western New York for almost ten years. They cover songs by some of the most popular musicians from the 1960’s to the present including The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and The Tragically Hip. While crowd favorites are included in their play list, they also play some of the lesser known tracks, with an acoustic slant and their own twist.

    The band consists of Phil Conroy (vocals and bass), Randy Milligan (vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin), Rick Schmitt (vocals, drums, percussion), Chris O’Malley (vocals, drums, guitar), and Mike Skowronski (vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin).     Admission is free and food and refreshments will be sold at the concert, with all proceeds supporting Buffalo River Fest Park maintenance and other riverfront development. No coolers will be allowed and spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is free and is available on surrounding side streets.

    The Wednesday Night Concert Series will feature some of the best local bands playing against the backdrop of the historic Buffalo River and grain elevators.
