  • On Wednesday, September 5th Buffalo River Fest Park will close out the season of their “Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series” at the park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concert will run from 6:30pm to 10pm and will feature the local band Hit N Run.

    Hit N Run – one of Buffalo’s premier party bands – is a 6-piece band that plays a wide array of material such as dance and sing-along Classic Rock, Oldies, newer Alternative, and a touch of Country, Disco and Blues – they strive to play something for everyone! Their play list includes everything from ACDC, to Neil Diamond, Bon Jovi, Boston, Bruno Mars, Styx, Rush, Frankie Valli, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Michael Jackson, Goo Goo Dolls, Motley Crew, Poison, Cheap Trick, Van Morrison, Van Halen, Garth Brooks, Lynard Skynard, Whitesnake, Dion & the Belmonts, Pat Benatar, Prince, Queen, Def Leppard, Journey and more.

    Hit N Run was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of fame in 2009 and won “Top Pop Rock Band” at the Buffalo Music Awards 9 years in a row. They are Channel 4’s reigning winner for the last few years for “Best-Of Cover Rock Band” and have won the People’s Choice award for Top Rock band. In 2011 Hit N Run was inducted into the Buffalo Night Life Hall of Achievements. The band has won over 30 awards for the group alone.

    The band consists of Mark Valentino (lead vocals), Guy Nichols (Bass Guitar and Vocals), Pat Annunziata (Organ, Piano, Synthesizers and Vocals), Annette Falasa (Vocals), Chris Olivieri (Drums), and Jason Drabek (Guitar, Vocals). Further information on the band can be found at

    Admission is free and food and refreshments will be sold at the concert, with all proceeds supporting Buffalo River Fest Park maintenance and other riverfront development. No coolers will be allowed and spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is free and is available on surrounding side streets.
