“Our Grown Up Christmas List,” the annual BGMC holiday concert (three performances, December 1, 8 and 9), will feature the Buffalo AIDS quilt. BGMC is very purposefully looking back at a tragic time that demanded we step up to support one another, juxtaposed against a season of thankful sentiments we will be sharing in our “Singing with Pride” concert, (May 31, June 1), which aligns the chorus with Pride Week for the first time in our 18-year history. Reconnecting with Pride just a few months after our holiday concert allows the Chorus to play a formal role in our strident celebrations of progress – look how far we’ve come!

About Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus
The BGMC is a family of over 70 gay men and straight allies. We take our mission seriously and aim to be one of the best men’s choral ensembles in Western New York, but with a balance of laughter and fun. The Chorus is a great place to meet people and make new friends, while doing something enjoyable and worthwhile. Our year is filled with special events, parties, and other opportunities to socialize with fellow members. We are members of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses, Inc. (GALA), the world’s only association committed to serving the LGBTQ choral movement and ties us to other Choruses in the US and around the world.
