  • Experience the largest life size gingerbread village in Western New York created by the talented students at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute! Weekends starting November 24 through December 22nd in 2018 patrons can visit with Santa Claus in the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute’s life size gingerbread house and take part in activities – cookie decorating for children, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, story reading, chef demos and more.  In addition, there is live entertainment, face painting, and music, and everywhere you look – it is decorated for the holiday season!

    Gingerbread Competition | Nov 29th through Dec 4th

    • The Niagara Falls Culinary Institute is proud to be hosting our annual Gingerbread Competition in conjunction with the Gingerbread Wonderland event.  This year’s competition promises to be better than ever.  We hope entering a gingerbread house, or stopping down to see the creations is on your holiday to do list. There are five categories to our competition: (Professional, Amateur, High School, College & Children’s)Pre-registration is required for the Gingerbread Competition.

    Festival of Slice | Nov 30th 5pm to 8pm

    • A Niagara Falls Pizza Celebration within the Niagara Falls Culinary.  The event will include a cash bar, live entertainment and vendors selling $1 slices of pizza.  Attendees will have a chance to vote for their favorite Niagara Falls pizza! Click here to learn more!

    Breakfast With Santa | Dec 8th

    • You won’t want to miss this festive breakfast with Santa! Young and old will enjoy the delicious breakfast and entertainment. Following breakfast, children will be able to get their face painted and decorate cookies!

    Toy Train Show | Dec 15th 11am – 7pm and Sunday Dec 16th 12pm – 5pm

    • Toy train hobbyists from Niagara Orleans Railroad Engineers will share their love of model railroading by displaying their modular train layout. Each hobbyist owns a module in the layout which has a unique theme with different scenery and accessories.  Each layout is equipped with realistic bells and whistles and operating smoke stack.

      The Joy of Trains organization is a group of train enthusiasts promoting the hobby of trains and model railroading. Joy of Trains will feature their “Holiday Village” layout and their “Desert Southwest: Constructing the Transcontinental Railroad” layout. Children are encouraged to touch the layout and to control the operation with hand-held controllers.

      Aurora Rails and Hobbies of East Aurora, NY will be present and feature Lionel Ready to Run Train sets, Polar Express layouts, train cars, and a variety of other train themed toys and collectibles.

      On Saturday December 15th from 12-2, kids will have an opportunity to get a photo with the Polar Express Train Conductor.
