This is a fun intro to embroidery workshop, where you will learn basic stitches, tips, and tricks. There will be four patterns to choose from and you’ll learn the transfer process and how they’re used as a primer for your basic stitches. Students will go home with the skill and written reference, along with the hoop, needle and Muslin and enough floss to finish the design they select and start during the class.
Ages: 16 years and up – no experience necessary!
Materials: All supplies are included.

Tami is a modern fiber artist, whose work merges traditional foundations with today’s textured techniques, and vibrant colorwork. She enjoys working with multiple fiber media, and is passionate about revitalizing and sparking new appreciation for the fiber arts through education, and inspiring and empowering a new generation of makers. She is known for Collaborweave, an interactive weaving project which encourages community participation and creative collaboration, and her work has received awards from NY Sheep and Wool.
