  • Buffalo Arts Studio is pleased to announce M&T Fourth Friday programming for March 2019, with a Preview of Plates and Pasta 2019, a fundraiser for Buffalo Arts Studio. Additionally, our Community Space Gallery will feature BPS City Honors International Baccalaureate Senior Art Exhibit. Both the Plates and Pasta Preview and the Community Space exhibition will have an Opening Reception on M&T Fourth Friday, March 22, 2019, from 5-8pm.

    Plates and Pasta 2019 is taking place within Buffalo Arts Studio on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 7-10pm. This year’s fundraiser will be a stations-based party with sweet and savory tasting stations, wine, beer, soft drinks, live music, interactive demonstrations, open studios, and a silent auction. Like past events, Plates & Pasta 2019 will feature unique work by more than 120 artists that are hand-painted or transferred onto glazed ceramic plates and pasta bowls.     BPS City Honors International Baccalaureate Senior Art Exhibit showcases artwork from 12 students in a variety of mediums. The IB Visual Arts course requires students in their senior year to curate and exhibit a collection of their art work from junior and senior years. Exhibiting artists as Lorin Brown, Sage Enderton, Cecelia Favorito, Naomi Hata, Juliu Mai, Sinead McDevitt, Theo Meadows, Jennifer Mitsuyama-Brandenberger, Julia Penchaszadeh-Robert, Mitchell Podgorny, and Mariana Silva.
