When 5 o’clock rolls around, it’s time to drink. #notsorry. Especially come summertime in WNY. Buffalo’s biggest outdoor happy hour is back for the third year in a row and it’s not what you think.
Queen City Social kicks off on June 21 and runs every Thursday for the next seven weeks. It’s all about the support local life. Each week Downtown restaurants will bring their local bites and drinks to the heart of Downtown Buffalo at Fountain Plaza ‐ and THAT’S how it’s done.

The best part? This weekly event is completely free and open‐to‐the‐public.
June 21 kicks off with a performance by a super cool west coast Celtic band. The Town Pants from Vancouver, British Columbia, combine Irish traditional, folk rock and roots, and Americana to create their own style – aka get excited.
Fountain Plaza is far from new to the happy hour scene. TBT to when Fountain Plaza played host to the first ever Thursday at the Park season back in 1987, which later became Thursday at the Square at Lafayette Square.

Fast forward to today, and Downtown is becoming a place where more and more locals choose to work and live. Naturally, this beautiful public space couldn’t be a better choice for a locally themed happy hour.
The Queen City Social series is presented by M&T Bank and supported by Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation, Crowley Webb, and Try‐It Distributing. Thanks guys!
If you like happy houring outside, you’ll want to add this place to your summertime HH rotation.
