Did you know Rohrbach Brewing Co. is the very first *craft* brewery in Rochester, NY? True story. 

When they opened back in 1991, they were the 142nd craft brewery in the country. Fast forward to today, and there are more than 8,000 breweries across the nation. NBD.

Rohrbach values its tried-and-true brews.

The latest trends may come and go, but flagships are flagships for a reason. This Rochester brewery has been brewing their Scotch Ale since the very beginning, and it’s become a local staple in Rochester. This famous flagship is strong and full-bodied with a sweet caramel finish. 

Rohrbach’s Scotch Ale is a classic, tried-and-true brew loved by locals for years and years. Staying true to their roots is really important to Rohrbach. 

The Scotch Ale is part of their Classic Series, along with other favorites like Space Kitty Double IPA and Blueberry Ale. When it comes to classics, this brewery is committed to carrying on tradition. 

Rohrbach has new brews, too. 

You’ll always find the classics here, but the overall tap lists change with the seasons. This means if you’re looking for an Irish ale come St. Paddy’s or a winter warmer come Christmastime, chances are you’ll find one here. They also do limited small-batch releases here. 

Rohrbach is all about supporting local.

Rohrbach is all about collaborating with local businesses of all kinds. They are active members of the New York State Brewers Association. Supporting the local beer community is super important to them! They even host the Flour City Brewers Fest every year, which showcases local breweries from Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and beyond.

You can find Rohrbach in Buffalo. 

The name may sound familiar if you shop for your beer locally. Rohrbach cans are available at local bottle shops and grocery stores, and on tap at beer bars in the Buffalo area. This handy dandy search tool can help you locate the nearest destination. 

Rohrbach offers shipping and takeout.

Rohrbachs is now shipping beer directly to your doorstep throughout New York State. You can order right on their website Monday through Wednesday at noon. 

P.S. This Rochester brewery is only a 1 hour, 15 minute drive from Downtown Buffalo. When you map it, you’ll also notice their brewpub is less than 15 minutes away from the brewery. 

Both Rochester locations are open for curbside takeout with unique menus, 4-packs, and freshly filled crowlers. Their offerings change weekly.
