Making authentic Neapolitan pizza is truly an art.

Do you want to feel like you’re in Italy? You’re in luck. Forno Napoli is carrying on this very special family tradition right here in Buffalo.

As the only Neapolitan kitchen in WNY, you can expect a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll feel like you’re walking into an authentic European market when you come here. The menu is full of gourmet Neapolitan delicacies, and they even use artisan quality ingredients imported from Italy and Europe.

When you visit this local restaurant, here’s what you can expect.

An Authentic Story

The owners of Forno Napoli come from a large Italian family. So when they decided to open a pizza place, they went back to their original roots. All the way back to a small town outside of Naples, where their grandparents grew up.

The tradition of making authentic Napoletana pizza is considered sacred in the Campania region of Italy and throughout Naples. So much so that the owners traveled to Italy to learn the traditional methods and to study the process.

An Authentic Menu

But wait.. it gets better. They imported a custom-made wood-fired oven, and the ingredients they use are imported directly from Italy. The menu at Forno Napoli is prepared by a team with a passion for tradition and technique.

And talk about authentic ingredients. The tomatoes, flour, cheeses, cured meats, pasta, oils, and olives are all imported from Italy. They use heirloom wheat flour and tomatoes grown in a nature preserve. Plus, they have the only handmade, original Acunto family oven in Western New York.

The pizzas here come in one standard size. Because tradition. They have quite a range of flavors, including:

  • Marinara Pizza
  • San Franco Pizza
  • Diavola Pizza
  • Bianca Napoli Pizza
  • Capricciosa Pizza
  • Verdura Pizza
  • Margherita Pizza
  • San Felice Pizza
  • Lasagna Pizza
  • Quattro Formaggi Pizza
  • Pomodorini Pizza
  • Rustica Pizza

Beyond the wood-fired pizza, they have calzones, paninis, pastas, salads, and chicken entrees. They even have gluten-free menu options including meatballs over salad, chicken over salad, and more. P.S. The entrees are affordable because this restaurant wants to extend the gourmet experience to everyone.

Of course they also have housemade desserts, including cannolis, eclairs, affogato, gelato, and more sweet treats. Naturally, they have an Italian wine and beer selection plus fresh ground Illy espresso, cappuccinos, and coffee.
