1. Take a Historic Tour of the Historic Campus

If you enjoy hearing the stories about the past, present and future, book a guided tour of this National Historic Landmark. You can choose from one of three touring experiences.

Museum Tours | $15 per person

The Museum Tour begins on the Campus grounds with an introduction to Roycroft history followed by an exploration of artifact collection on exhibit in the Campus Museum. Through a combination of rotating and permanent exhibits, you’ll see rare, one-of-a-kind artifacts, and learn more about the people, products, and philosophy that made Elbert Hubbard and the Roycroft campus an important part of the Arts & Crafts Movement. This tour lasts approximately 1 hour.

Museum Tours are available Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through April 30 and Tuesdays – Saturdays starting May 3. Advanced registration is highly recommended.

Campus Tours | $20 per person

Available starting May 3

The Campus tour will take you around the grounds and buildings to explore the architecture and history of the Roycroft. This tour is primarily outdoors, but ends in the Campus Museum so that guests can view our artifact collection on exhibit. The entire tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

In-Depth Tours | $50 per person

Available starting in May

The In-Depth Tour will take you to all the spaces included on the Campus Tour, plus several additional interior areas (some of which are not typically open to the public). You’ll have a chance to examine original Roycroft furniture, stained glass, metalwork, the murals of Alexis Fournier, and more. This tour is 2.5 hours and includes a visit to the Campus Museum. There’s limited handicapped accessibility.

You can book your tour online.

The Copper Shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or you can shop online.

3. Book a Stay at the Roycroft Inn

If you’re looking for an excuse to get out of your house and spend time in the heart of East Aurora, here it is. You can book a staycation at the Roycroft Inn any night of the week or upgrade your experience with a spring getaway package.

5. Attend a Fun-draiser

Founder’s Day | June 4 at 5:30 p.m.

Similar to gatherings held on the Campus during its heyday in the early 1900s, Founder’s Day will be an outdoor, family-friendly program with live music, crafts, games, basket raffle, and barbeque. In the evening, a movie will be projected outside on the grounds.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children under 14, and free for children under 3. Tickets include food, non-alcoholic drinks, and access to all activities. You can purchase basket raffle tickets separately at the event along with beer and wine.
