Sure, you know about Christmas in the Country, the giant craft show that happens every year around the holidays at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. But do you know about its little sister, Springtime in the Country happening at the end of this month? #themoreyouknow
Celebrating 23 years of fine art and artisans, Springtime in the Country returns to the Event Center at the Hamburg Fairgrounds, Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2. This year it’s expanded to include a Spring Market featuring everything we’re craving right about now, including fresh fruits and vegetables, beautiful fragrant flowers, specialty foods, craft wineries, brewers and distillers, food trucks and mobile kitchens, and more.
Shoppers at the Spring market will have the chance to check out over 200 artisans from across the nation, learn about their considerable talents and purchase only handcrafted items.

Along with the Spring Market, this year’s edition of Springtime in the Country features garden art, metal works, vintage fashion, original wall art, custom furniture, designer jewelry, home décor, spa quality bath and beauty products, gourmet foods, children’s toys, pottery, and then some.  If you’re in need of a gift – perhaps something to bring to Grammy on Easter or a Mother’s Day present for Mom, this is it. You’ve hit the motherload. Pun intended.
“This market epitomizes the growing trend in our community—the importance of buying small, handmade and local”, notes Daniel Kaczynski of Premier Promotions.  “We are definitely experiencing a resurgence in community markets as consumers are making meaningful purchases from small businesses,” added Kaczynski.
Springtime in the Country is Friday, March 31 from 4-9 pm, Saturday, April 1 from 10-5 and Sunday, April 2 from 10-4pm at the Fairgrounds Event Center in Hamburg.
Admission is $7 for adults and seniors and complimentary return passes are available at the event’s information booth.  Children under 12 are free.
Discount tickets for Springtime in the Country are available through Thursday, March 30 and may be purchased at the Fairgrounds Business Office (open Monday – Friday from 9am – 4:30pm) and other locations listed online at  Parking is free.
